(KLZA)-- Humboldt has a new Mayor.
The City Council voted Tuesday night to appoint Crystal Dunekacke to the position following the resignation of Mayor Mike Riley.
Riley submitted a letter of resignation due to a new job. Riley and his wife will be moving to Maryville, Missouri where he will be General Manager of a car dealership.
Dunekacke had been serving as President of the Humboldt City Council.
