(KNZA)--Two St. Joseph men were injured late Monday night after their car crashed into a St. Joseph home.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Tolby Thompson was traveling north on St. Joe Avenue at a high rate of speed when he tried to pass another vehicle and lost control of his Pontiac Grand Prix. His car overturned multiple times, striking a fence post, a shed and the front porch of a house.
Thompson and his 21-year-old passenger, Bryce Cadwallader, were transported by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The Patrol says Cadwallader received serious injuries and Thompson received moderate injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly after 11:15.
