Public Input Sought on Pawnee City Superintendent Search

(KLZA)-- A “Community Input Forum” is to be held Tuesday evening starting at 5 p-m at the Pawnee City School Media Center.  

The purpose of the meeting is to receive input and feedback from patrons on the search for a new school Superintendent in Pawnee City.  Superintendent Stephen Grizzle has submitted his resignation, effective June 30th.  Grizzle has accepted a job as superintendent of the Fairbury School District. 

For those unable to attend the program Tuesday, you can go to the “Survey Monkey” link, accessible on the Pawnee City School website:  www.pawneecityschool.com through April 2, to comment.  

Applications for the position will be accepted until April 7th.  Finalists will be selected April 10th with interviews April 14th.  The new Superintendent, is expected to be hired by April 20th. 

The Pawnee City School Board has hired McPherson & Jacobson, LLC, Executive Recruitment and Development to assist them in selecting candidates for the Board to interview.
