(KAIR)--A 24-year-old Atchison man, accused of attacking a woman last week, is now facing burglary charges in an unrelated case.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says Devan Landry was arrested Sunday while already in custody at the Atchison County Jail on charges related to an vehicle burglary in the 1700 block of Santa Fe Terrace that dates back to 2011.
Wilson says that Landry has now been formally charged with criminal damage to property, burglary, and theft from a vehicle.
Landry was arrested March 14th after allegedly taking part in an assault on a woman in Atchison. He is facing charges of aggravated battery, criminal restraint, and criminal damage to property in that case.
