(KAIR)--An Effingham man was arrested Friday afternoon after authorities say he was in possession of a sexually explicit picture of a teenager.
Sheriff's Department Investigator Larry Myer says 32-year-old Glen Hewitt was taken into custody around 4:30 on an Atchison County District Court warrant charging him with one felony count of sexual exploitation of a child.
Authorities were made aware of Hewitt's possession of the photo though the investigation of another case.
Myer says the victim is an acquaintance of Hewitt.
Hewitt remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $50,000 bond.
