(KNZA)--A Bellevue, Nebraska teenager was injured Sunday evening after she lost control of her vehicle on a snow-packed highway in northern Jackson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Rebecca Reed was northbound on U.S. Highway 75 about 15 miles north of Holton when her vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in the ditch.
Reed, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the Holton Community Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly before 6:30.
