(KNZA)--Repairs will be made at the Doniphan County Courthouse in Troy.
The County Commission Monday accepted a bid from Les Collins Plastering of St. Joseph for the repair and replacement of office ceilings within the courthouse for a cost of just over $27,000 to meet requirements of a Department of Labor safety inspection.
The Commission also accepted a price quote from the company to repair the water damage to the plaster walls in three offices and the women’s restroom for just over $15,000.
In addition, a price quote was accepted from the company to replace the existing drop ceiling in the first floor hallway of the courthouse and remove the air handlers above the office doors on the first floor for a cost of just over $3,000.
Funding for the improvements will come from the county’s new sales tax fund.
