(KNZA)--A 26-year-old woman was arrested Saturday evening after stealing a motor vehicle in northwest Missouri, apparently unaware that a person was in the back seat of the car.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Harrisonville, Missouri resident Sasha Moses was arrested near the junction of Interstate 29 and U.S. Highway 36 after she allegedly stole a vehicle from a Platte City Convenience store.
KQ2-TV reports Moses was charged Monday in Platte County with felonious restraint and tamping with a motor vehicle.
Troopers say the man inside the car was on the phone with 911 dispatchers during the ordeal. He was not hurt.
