(KAIR)--An Atchison man, convicted on burglary related charges in two separate cases will spend just over three years in prison for the crimes.
28-year-old Joshua Spurlock was sentenced Monday in Atchison County District Court to 24 months in prison for the theft of several jars of coins from a residence in 2013.
In the second case, he was sentenced to 14 months for felony theft in connection with the theft of items from a purse belonging to an acquaintance last year.
Judge Martin Asher ordered the sentences to be served consecutively.
