(KNZA)--An alleged altercation between two residents of a Horton home on Friday leads to the arrest of one on charges including aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
Horton Police Chief John Calhoon says taken into custody was 60-year-old Cecil Bone. “A verbal altercation started within the residence,” Calhoon tells MSC News. “There were some witnesses that called in and heard yelling and screaming and also [observed] Mr. Bone swinging a weapon which happened to be an approximately 10 inch ratchet wrench.”
Calhoon says the other man was believed to be attempting to keep Bone out of the 344 West 11th Street residence when Bone allegedly began swinging the tool.
Bone was arrested Friday afternoon and booked into the Brown County Jail on the charges.
