(KAIR)--The Atchison County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary that has resulted in several valuable items being removed from a local residence.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says Gerard Glancy reported that the theft, occurring at 4874 Osage Road, happened between January 2nd and January 10th.
Items taken in the burglary include a forty gallon electric water heater, fireplace insert with blower, and seven copper lighting rods. Total loss is estimated at nearly $1,800.
Officials do not yet have any suspects in the case, but the search for leads continues.
