(KAIR)--A second arrest has been made in connection with an early December burglary at an Atchison residence.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, 20-year-old Chase Chapman was arrested at his residence, located in the 600 block of North Second Street Wednesday evening, on an Atchison County District Court warrant for burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary.
Wilson says the residence where the alleged incident took place was under construction at the time. Chapman, and the second suspect, 21-year-old Brett Betts allegedly removed several saws from the site. The subsequent investigation led to the recovery of the saws, as well as to the identity of Betts and Chapman.
Betts was arrested Monday after turning himself into police.
