(KNZA)--A Topeka man was arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly firing shots at motorists in southern Jackson County.
Sheriff Tim Morse says 51-year-old Cory Huff is being held in the Jackson County Jail on two counts of intentional second degree attempted murder.
Morse said the sheriff’s office responded to a report of a man firing a firearm from a moving vehicle at motorists north of the intersection of 94th Street and U.S. Highway 75.
Huff was taken into custody shortly before 7:30 in northern Shawnee County. Morse says Huff is accused of firing shots at northbound motorists on Highway 75.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office assisted in the apprehension of Huff.
