(KNZA)--A Sabetha man convicted of indecent solicitation of a child has been granted probation.
21-year-old Tex Goodpasture was given a suspended prison sentence Monday in Brown County District Court on the felony charge and placed on 24-months supervised probation. He will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
Goodpasture pleaded no contest to the charge in November, which authorities say involved a child between the ages of 14 and 16.
He was arrested in September following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department.
