(KNZA)--A roll-over crash on a Jackson County road Friday evening sent a Topeka man to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened on K Road, just south of 174th Road, about six miles west of Mayetta shortly before 8.
The Patrol says 23-year-old Calvin Darnell was southbound when for an unknown reason his sports utility vehicle went off into the west ditch. Darnell overcorrected, causing his vehicle to roll.
Darnell, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center with unspecified injuries.
