(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners reconvened as the Board of Equalization during their Tuesday meeting. Fiscal year 2014-15 levies were discussed and approved as presented. This was the final step required for setting of property tax levies for the year.
County Assessor Jonathan Bailey met with the Board to discuss the County website. he will put County Board agendas and minutes on the website. Bailey also plans to post election results following the November election.
Sheriff Jayme Reed met with the Board concerning a patrol car needing various repairs. The Sheriff said she would get bids for a newer patrol car. She also discussed panic buttons for the Courthouse and will schedule a walk through to give an estimate of cost.
County Attorney Jennifer Stehlik Ladman met with Commissioners regarding working hours to qualify for insurance. She will be checking and will get back with Commissioners at a later date.
