(KNZA)--U.S. Senator Jerry Moran will visit Sabetha Thursday evening as part of his Kansas Listening tour. The next morning, he'll hear from constituents in Doniphan County as he meets the public at Highland Community College.
The Kansas Republican will be at the Sabetha Middle School auditorium from 5:00 until 6:00 Thursday evening. On Friday morning, Moran will meet with constituents from 8:00 until 9:00 at the Highland Community College Library.
Area residents are encouraged to attend and share feedback with Moran on the critical issues facing Kansas and the nation. "This is my chance to make sure I've not lost touch with what Kansans want me to be doing on their behalf and to give them a chance to hold my feet to the fire," Moran tells MSC News. The issues Moran focuses on and the work he does in Washington, D.C., are largely based on the conversations he has with Kansans during these town hall meetings.
Throughout his time in Congress, Moran has made it a priority to stay connected to the people he represents despite a distance of more than 1,000 miles between Capitol Hill and Kansas. Since his election to the U.S. Senate, Moran has held a town hall in each of Kansas’ 105 counties.
