(KAIR)--Atchison police have made a second arrest in connection with the alleged theft of a motorcycle from Topeka.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, officials believed that 36-year-old Atchison resident Nicholas Norton had been in possession of the motorcycle, and were looking for him ever since it was recovered early Tuesday morning.
An officer on patrol spotted Norton pulling into the same motel parking lot where the motorcycle was first spotted, just after 9:00 Tuesday evening, and took him into custody.
Norton was booked into the Atchison County Jail, where he is facing a charge of possession of stolen property.
22-year-old Eric Ballard of Atchison, was arrested earlier in the day in connection with the alleged theft.
