(KAIR)--A vehicle reported stolen in Kentucky in late June has been recovered in Atchison.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, officials with the Elizabethtown Kentucky Police Department contacted his department Sunday morning explaining that they were working a stolen vehicle case, and had reason to believe that both the vehicle and the suspect, 49-year-old Collinsville, Oklahoma resident Shawna Bracken, were currently in the Atchison area.
Atchison police investigated, and were able to locate both the vehicle and Bracken later that same day. She was arrested on a state of Kentucky warrant for vehicle theft, and transported to the Atchison County Jail.
