(KNZA)--A two-vehicle collision on K-4 Highway in Jefferson County Monday afternoon sent a young Rushville, Missouri woman to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened around 3:15 about seven miles north of Meriden. The Patrol says 59-year-old Ruth Anne Streeter, of Valley Falls, was northbound when her pickup truck went left of center and struck a southbound car driven by 19-year-old Erin Kelley. Kelley was transported to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center with unspecified injuries. Streeter wasn’t hurt.
The Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
