(KNZA)--The new concession stand-restroom facility at the Hiawatha High School football stadium is complete and will be unveiled Friday evening.
A ribbon-cutting will take place at 5:30 prior to the Gatorade Scrimmage. A tailgate party begins at that time as well, hosted by the Hiawatha National Bank and the Red Hawk volleyball team.
Construction on the about 50 by 37-foot facility began in mid-May.
The around $200,000 project was funded through donations collected by the Hiawatha Education Foundation.
