(KNZA)--Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins will visit Holton and Horton on Wednesday.
The 2nd District Republican will host “ Coffee with your Congresswoman” in the commission chamber at the Holton City Hall from 1:45 to 2:45 in the afternoon.
The event is open to the public and will provide local residents the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas with Jenkins.
Jenkins will then travel to Horton for a meeting with Horton city officials to discuss the “ Reinvent Horton Project”. In addition, she will attend a joint partnership proclamation and sign dedication between the city of Horton and Kickapoo Tribe at 4.
Jenkins is currently seeking a fourth term representing the 2nd District, and is being challenged by Democrat Margie Wakefield.
