(KLZA)-- Community involvement and wellness are the goals for the Auburn Community Olympics scheduled for Saturday. Proceeds raised during the events will be used to purchase wellness equipment and enhance the new Auburn walking trails.
Auburn high school is the staging area for the registration that begins at 7:15 a-m.
Events include a 5-K fun run and walk from 8 – 9 a-m; 3-on-3 basketball at Legion Memorial Park; Bowling; Volleyball at Calvert Elementary School; Dodgeball at the Wellness Center; Lap swimming, disc golf, Yoga, flag football at the Auburn Middle School Field and an Auburn History scavenger hunt.
At 5 p-m an awards ceremony will be held at the Auburn Legion Memorial Park.
