(KLZA)-- A Falls City man charged in connection with a burglary last September has entered into a plea agreement.
31-year-old David Davis pleaded no contest last week in Richardson County District Court to an amended misdemeanor charge of theft by unlawful taking or disposition.
Sentencing is set for September 2nd.
Originally Davis was charged with a felony count of burglary for a September, 2013 incident during which Davis took control of the cash drawer from J.P.’s Butcher Block in Rulo. As part of the plea agreement, the felony charge was dismissed.
Davis is also facing a jury trial on a burglary charge in connection with a break-in at the former Mickelberry Meat building in the 800 block of East 5th Street in Falls City.
