(KAIR)--Atchison Police have made an arrest in connection with a burglary that took place last week.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says 27-year-old Atchison resident Joshua Spurlock was taken into custody Saturday afternoon on an Atchison County District Court warrant for a burglary that took place on July 11th at a residence located in the 1500 block of North Third Street.
Spurlock was transported to the Atchison County Jail, where he faces one count of burglary.
When police initially investigated the case, they were led to 44-year-old John Lewis, who was then arrested and charged with various drug related offenses. Lewis was not connected with the burglary.
