(KTNC)--Falls City Firemen responded Tuesday evening when an evening cookout got out of control.
Firefighters were called to 1618 Crook Street shortly after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday after a rubber hose to the tank on a barbecue grill caught on fire.
Fire Chief Ken Simpson says the fire was doused with a fire extinguisher. Damage was limited to the grill and the meat that was cooking at the time.
Twelve volunteer firefighters responded to the call.
