Field Trip Will Explore Southeast Nebraska Plants

FAIRBURY, Neb. (AP) - The steep hills and valleys, sandstone outcrops and sandy soils of Rock Glen Wildlife Management Area and Rock Creek Station State Historical Park in southeast Nebraska will be explored during a field trip to explore native plants.

Nebraska Game and Parks Commission botanist Gerry Steinauer will lead the trip on July 12.

People are asked to meet at 10 a.m. at the Rock Creek Station visitor center parking lot, 57426 710th Road, southeast of Fairbury. A park entry permit is required.
