(KNZA)--A 38-year-old Potter man wanted by Brown County authorities on a felony warrant for arson has been arrested.
Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says Johnny Hogue was taken into custody Monday evening in Potter without incident.
Merchant says the sheriff’s department was assisted by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Department, the Atchison Police Department and Kansas Highway Patrol.
Merchant had issued a request for the public’s assistance in locating Hogue June 16th. He thanked the public for their assistance in locating Hogue and the extra efforts put forth by one of his officers and the assisting agencies, which made the arrest possible.
Hogue remains in the Brown County Jail on $50,000 bond.
