(KTNC)--Twelve organizations will share in more than $15,000 raised last weekend during an annual benefit golf tournament.
The 10th annual Edwin S. Towle the Third Memorial Golf Tournament was held Saturday at the Falls City Country Club, with 31, three-person teams participating.
Approximately $7,750 was generated during the event and this year, Dorothy Towle matched all donations, bringing the total to over $15,500.
Players could choose to donate funds to one of several charitable organizations. Those include: the Community Medical Center Building Fund, the Falls City Alumni Golf, the Falls City Booster Club, the Humane Society, Richardson County 4-H Boosters, Sacred Heart Activity Center, the Elk’s Club Renovation, Falls City Backpack Program, the Falls City Country Club, Main Street Barbecue, the Richardson County Cancer Fund, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Over the past 10 years, the tournament has raised more than $45,000, benefiting 32 different organizations.
