Motorcylist Killed in Collision with Fire Truck
AGENCY, Mo. (AP) --A northwest Missouri woman has died after her motorcycle collided with a fire truck as she rounded a curve on a rural highway.
The St. Joseph News-Press reports 24-year-old Jennifer Boyer was driving a 2007 Harley-Davidson on Route FF north of Agency at 8:45 p.m. Monday when she rounded a curve and crossed the center line, striking a southbound Agency fire truck.
Boyer was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the northbound lane, while the truck went off the west side of the road, struck a ditch and came to rest.
Boyer was pronounced dead at the scene. The 56-year-old St. Joseph man who was driving the fire truck was not injured.
