(KAIR)--A two vehicle wreck on US 59 Highway, one mile south of 254 Road and about five miles outside of Atchison, sends one to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that it happened shortley after 12:30 Monday morning when a car driven by 40-year-old Frank Goodpasture of Atchison was traveling northbound on the highway, when it drifted into the opposite lane and collided with a semi truck driven by 44-year-old William Floyd of Chillicothe, Missouri.
Goodpasture was transported to the KU medical center for treatment of disabling injuries. Floyd reported possible injuries as a result of the wreck, but the Patrol does not say if he was transported to a medical facility.
