(KTNC) --The Falls City FFA Chapter held its annual banquet Sunday evening.
Awards and scholarships were presented following dinner.
Nine first-year FFA members were presented with Greenhand Degrees and three second-year members received Chapter Degrees.
Cody Schawang received the State FFA Degree. He also was the recipient of the $500 FFA Alumni Scholarship.
An honorary chapter degree was presented to Dan and Kristi Schawang. An Honorary State Degree was presented to Trudy Burenheide, wife of the late Bernhard Burenheide, who was honored for his years of service to FFA.
New Falls City FFA officers for the next year are President Derik Eickhoff, vice president Jordan Stoller, secretary Megan Vollmer, treasurer Maygan Ramsey, reporter Sydney Brewer, sentinel Erik Eickhoff, and parliamentarian Megan Eickhoff.
