(KMZA)--A new Marshall County agriculture extension agent has been hired. Heidi Wolfgang reports
The Marysville Advocate reports the Marshall County Extension Council has hired Anastasia Johnson for the position. She will begin work June 1st.
Johnson will graduate from the University of Nebraska in May, where she is majoring in applied sciences and agriculture systems options with a minor in leadership and communications.
Johnson will join Marshall County Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent Susie Latta.
The position has been vacant since last fall when Mike Vogt resigned to take a job as an agricultural economist with the Northeast Kansas Farm Management Association in Holton.
