(KTNC) -- A Mound City woman escaped a wreck on a rural Nodaway County road with minor injuries.
The Missouri State Patrol reports 20-year-old Katie Portman was driving a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix west on Highway A, two miles east of Maitland, just after 2 Friday afternoon when she experienced a medical condition.
Portman’s car went off the highway, struck a speed limit sign and an embankment, then went airborne and came to rest on its wheels off the south side of the roadway.
Portman, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville for treatment of minor injuries.
