(KLZA) -- Following several months of discussion, Pawnee County Commissioners Tuesday approved a new health insurance plan for county employees and their families.
Dennis Maggart with the Nebraska Association of County Officials and Dan Duren with Benefit Management both met with Commissioners Tuesday to discuss health insurance plans. The Board voted to go to the Co-opportunity Premium Platinum insurance plan through NACO as soon as possible.
Pawnee County pays 100 percent of the policy for an individual, 66 percent of the policy for a couple and 64 percent for a family plan. The cost per person will vary depending on age.
Mike Jones with Vision Care Direct also met with Commissioners to present his vision plans.
