03/21/2014

(KTNC) --A motorcyclist was injured Thursday afternoon after crashing on a Falls City street.

According to the Falls City Police report, 21-year-old Jeremiah Lippold of Falls City was southbound in the 2000 block of Harlan Street when a Dodge Stratus turned in front of him, causing him to wreck his motorcycle.

Two witnesses who were following the car told investigators they saw the vehicle turn in front of the motorcycle.

The car’s driver, Carol Gentry, told authorities that she did not see Lippold’s motorcycle until she was in the middle of her left-hand turn. Gentry was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Lippold was ejected from his motorcycle. He sustained what were described as visible but not disabling injuries.
