(KMZA)--The Nemaha County Sheriff's Office has launched an investigation following the forced entry, and theft, that occurred at a building located at the Nemaha County Landfill.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, the crime occurred sometime between 4:00 Friday afternoon and 11:00 Tuesday morning. That's apparently the time when the break-in was discovered at the Landfill, located along U.S. Highway 36, east of Seneca.
Whoever forced their way in made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Sheriff's Office has not yet identified any definite suspects in the break-in.
