Marysville Man Killed in House Fire
(KMZA)--The cause of a house fire that claimed the life of a Marysville man remains under investigation by the Kansas State Fire Marshal's office.
Authorities say 65-year-old Greg Haas died in the fire at his home at 306 Laramie late Tuesday night.
The Marysville Advocate reports his wife, Janis, was able to escape the blaze that destroyed the couple‘s home.
Greg Haas was thought to have been asleep in a bedroom.
Firefighters were called to the home shortly before 10:30 Tuesday night and remained on the scene until about 4 Wednesday morning.
Funeral services for Haas will be Monday morning at 10:30 at the United Evangelical Church of Christ in Marysville.
