(KNZA)--The life of an Atchison man who died from injuries received after falling from a cliff will be celebrated Friday evening.
A celebration of the life of 54-year-old Glen “ Buzz” Ramsey will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Atchison Elks Lodge.
According to the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department, Ramsey was one of three men who were burning brush near the 100 block of Larkinburg Road in the southern portion of the county last Thursday night. Ramsey was reportedly standing next to a cliff, went backwards, falling about 25 feet to an area near a creek.
He was flown from the scene to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph where he died later.
Ramsey is survived by his wife, Sharon, a daughter and two step-daughters.
