(KMZA)--A new Superintendent has been selected by the Marysville USD 364 Board of Education.
According to a press release from the district, Lloyd W. “Bill” Mullins has accepted the contract offered to him and will begin his duties on July 1st.
Mullins currently serves as the Riverview High School Principal in Searcy, Arkansas.
He brings with him some familiarity to Kansas, having taught one year as a high school math teacher in Wichita.
The district, with the assistance of the consulting firm McPherson and Jacobson L.L.C., began the search with 17 applicants, then narrowed the field to five finalists, selecting Mullins from that pool.
The need for a new Superintendent was created following the April resignation of Khris Thexton from that position.
