(KLZA) -- With filing deadlines coming closer, Nemaha County, Nebraska residents have started to file for the May primary election.
Sheriff Brent Lottman has filed for re-election on the Republican ticket.
Nemaha County 1st District Commissioner Bob Hutton of Nemaha has filed for re-election on the Republican ticket. Hutton will be challenged in the May primary by Jim Winkelman of Brownville.
County Clerk Joyce Oakley has filed for re-election on the Democratic ticket. Clerk of the District Court Amy Hector has filed for re-election on the Republican ticket.
Other filings include Jay Hauserman and Kendell Neiman seeking re-election to the Auburn Airport Authority.
Incumbents have until February 18th to file for election for any office they seek. Non-incumbents have until March 3rd to file for the May primary election.
