(KTNC) --The Falls City Area Jaycees are seeking nominations for their annual Distinguished Service Awards. The organization will present awards to six individuals.
The awards that will be presented are: the Distinguished Service Award, the Outstanding Educator Award, the Boss of the Year, Outstanding Community Leader, the Robert J. Chab Community Service Award, and the Good Neighbor Award.
Nominations will be judged based on several criteria, including personal improvement or accomplishment, social improvement, philanthropic contribution or volunteer service, cultural achievement, academic leadership or accomplishment, and success in the influence of public opinion.
Entries must be received no later than Thursday, January 9. Nomination forms can be mailed to: DSA Nomination, Falls City Area Jaycees P.O. Box 202 Falls City, Nebraska, 68355. Forms can also be dropped off at Mike Castle’s State Farm Insurance office at 2002 Stone Street.
The awards will be presented during the Jaycee’s annual awards program at the Elk’s Lodge on Monday, January 20.
