(KTNC) A one-vehicle accident on Missouri Route 46 Sunday evening resulted in an injury to a Skidmore, Missouri woman. Nineteen-year-old Jessica Kirk was injured in the accident that occurred seven miles east of Fairfax at 7:30 Sunday evening.
According to the Missouri State Patrol, Kirk was driving westbound on Highway 46 when her 1997 Dodge Neon crossed the centerline and went off the south side of the road. After leaving the roadway, Kirk’s car went airborne and struck a tree and a concrete box culvert before coming to rest on its wheels in a creek.
Kirk was transported initially to the Fairfax Hospital and was later taken to an Omaha hospital with moderate injuries.
