(KLZA) -- An open house was held at the new City Office building in Falls City on Monday morning. City personnel moved into the former medical clinic building at 23rd and Barada in May.
City Administrator Gary Jorn says that most everything is in place in the new facility, although there are still some files to go through at the former City Hall Building.
Jorn said the advantages of moving to the new City Hall includes having the Utility side and the City office incorporated into one space. This allows easier public access, and makes it possible to do all of your city business by going to just one counter instead of going to different locations in City Hall.
The Utility Office and City Office is located on the north end of the building and the Police Department and Dispatch Center is located on the south end of the building. The City Council Chambers is located in the middle portion of the building.
