(KMZA)-- A report of a weekend break-in leads Nemaha County authorities to a 26-year-old Goff man, now jailed on drug related charges.
Nemaha County Sheriff Rich Vernon says Albert Scott, III was taken into custody on Saturday following a quick investigation. That happened when authorities developed information that Scott could have been involved in the reported break-in at a Goff residence.
Scott's probation officer gave permission for his home to be searched, with authorities alleging that marijuana and methamphetamine related items were located during the search.
Scott was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
There's not any immediate word on what role, if any, Scott played in the reported break-in that led to his arrest.
