(KAIR)--Law enforcement officials are left with very few clues after what appeared to be a threatening note was left at the Stationery Credit Union in St. Joseph.
According to KQ2-TV, the note was found by a credit union employee, who promptly called the police. Commander Janice Rothganger from the St. Joseph police department says that officers responded to the call just after 7:15 Tuesday morning to the bank, located at 1402 S. 10th Street.
The note indicated that the writer intended to rob the bank, but officials do not know when it was left, and the police department is not offering any more information regarding the wording or other details about the note. However, surveillance footage is being reviewed in an attempt to gain more information.
If you have any information regarding this case, please contact the St. Joseph police department. Or, you can call the TIPS hotline at 816-238-TIPS.
