(KNZA)--A Topeka man escaped serious injury early Friday afternoon after his vehicle struck a parked car before coming to rest inside a medical clinic in Meriden.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Galen Quiett was traveling north on K-4 Highway when his pickup truck left the highway, entered the west ditch, and struck a fence. His pickup then continued northwest until it struck an unoccupied car in the parking lot of the Cotton-O’Neil Clinic before coming to rest inside the clinic.
Quiett was taken to a Topeka hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
