(KAIR)--Two injured following a late Friday morning single vehicle Atchison County rollover crash.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says it happened around 11:00 when 20-year-old Nikki Martin was southbound on Osborne Road. When she reached the corner of Ottawa Road and 298th Road, the pickup she was driving went off the side of the road, into a bean field and overturned. She and her 18 year old passenger, identified by Laurie as her sister, Summer Martin, required hospital treatment for non life threatening injuries. Nikki Martin was transported from the scene by Atchison County EMS, while Summer Martin was flown by Lifenet Helicopter. A male passenger, identified as 21-year-old Derek Sunderman, was not hurt. Laurie says he was sitting in between the women in the single cab pick-up truck, and was the only one not wearing a seat belt.
All three are listed as Atchison County residents.
