(KNZA)--A chip and seal project is set to begin in Hiawatha, meaning vehicles will have to be moved from the select streets undergoing the work.
According Hiawatha officials, the work is expected to begin Monday, and last until around August 21st, depending on weather.
The streets to be completed are Hatfield to Navajo, Utah to Pottawatomie, and Iowa, east of 1st and 12th, to Hopi, and 3rd Street from Kickapoo to Iowa.
Crews will begin work each morning at 7:00, with vehicles needing to be moved before that happens.
City officials say that any vehicle not removed at any time of the project will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Questions regarding the project should be addressed t (785)-742-7417.
