(KAIR)--A Leavenworth man is facing numerous charges in connection with a police chase and subsequent altercation that took place Sunday evening, just blocks away from the Atchison County Law Enforcement Center.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson the incident began when an officer spotted a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Jason D. Farley going the wrong way, headed east at 6th and Parallel…(Play audio) Wilson says there were no injuries as a result of the accident, but that Farley did get into a minor scuffle with police after he was stopped…(Audio continues)
Farley was booked for DUI, attempting to elude, obstructing the legal process, and other traffic charges. Bond has been set at just over $6,200. Farley remains in the Atchison County Jail as of late Monday afternoon.
